Celebrating the Opening of Our Final Floor!

At Rowan Park, we are proud to announce the upcoming opening of our final floor, the Writhlington Community, set to welcome residents from the 30th of June. This is a significant milestone for us as it marks the completion of our full care offering and the next chapter in delivering personalised, compassionate support to older adults in a truly beautiful setting.

The Writhlington Community is located on our top floor and has been carefully designed to support residents with residential and low-level nursing needs. With just 10 beds, it offers a calm, intimate atmosphere where residents can feel at home while enjoying the support they need.

What makes our new space particularly special is its stunning outlook. From the lounge and dining area, residents can take in far-reaching views across the Mendip Hills and the surrounding countryside. The floor also features a private balcony area and provides the perfect spot to enjoy fresh air, sunshine, and time with loved ones in a safe, accessible space.

To celebrate the opening, three of our current residents will be joining the team for a special gathering. This will be a moment to welcome new residents and reflect on how far Rowan Park has come as a home and a community.

Our manager and all staff members have worked tirelessly to prepare the Writhlington Community, ensuring that every detail has been considered with residents’ comfort and well-being as the top priority. Just like the rest of Rowan Park, the new floor will reflect our core values of personalised care, dignity, independence and genuine companionship.
