Blues Brothers Bring the Beat to Rowan Park

Nothing makes us at Rowan Park happier than spending an afternoon together filled with laughter and song. We had the great pleasure of hosting a Blues Brothers duo this past month whose energetic performance made the whole house come to life. The room was ablaze with anticipation from the first note with happy voices, toe-taps and smiles everywhere.

Memories in Every Melody

We can connect via music, and this event was no different. While some of our residents couldn't help but show off their best dance moves, many others sang along to well-known songs from their favourite eras! The contagious excitement served as a reminder that nothing compares to the uplifting power of a great song in building a sense of community.

Whether they were clapping, singing, or simply tapping their feet in time, we enjoyed witnessing everyone participate. Rowan Park feels like one huge family because of these shared occasions, which are very important to us all.
