Trying Something New This July!

There’s something special about discovering a new passion later in life and here at Rowan Park, we’re proud to support our residents in trying new things and embracing moments of joy. Our recent pottery sessions have quickly become a much-loved highlight on the activities calendar and it’s easy to see why.
At our most recent activity session, the atmosphere was buzzing with laughter, friendly conversation, and some very messy hands! The session leader worked with our residents individually, helping them to mould the clay and showing them different techniques to make certain shapes. In no time, our residents were feeling confident and all joining in.

After everybody had got involved, we had some wonderful finished creations ready to go off to the kiln. Our residents made the pottery to show their loved ones and we can't wait to get them back and show them off!
It wasn’t just the residents who enjoyed the session either. A few members of our team rolled up their sleeves and joined in the fun, which brought an even greater sense of togetherness to the day. These moments of shared experience between residents and staff help to create the warm, family feel that Rowan Park is known for.

Our pottery afternoons aren’t just about making art. They’re about building confidence, exploring new interests and creating happy memories. It's always a joy to see our residents discovering talents and interests they didn’t know they had.
If you or a loved one is looking for a care home that encourages creative living and offers a full, engaging lifestyle, we’d love to welcome you to Rowan Park. Book a tour today and see for yourself why we are a leading Bath care home.
